Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026 · Draft pending legal review
1. The service
BerusDev ("we", "us") provides a private client portal for managing commissioned work: requests, quotes, acceptances, progress updates, payments, and files.
Access requires a Discord account and manual approval. We may refuse or revoke access at our discretion.
2. Quotes and acceptance
A quote states the price, currency, scope, deliverables, exclusions, and an estimated delivery date. Estimates are good-faith projections, not guarantees.
When you click "Accept quote", the portal records your explicit agreement to that exact quote revision — including price, scope, and dates — with a timestamp and a cryptographic snapshot. This record is the agreed baseline.
Once accepted, the scope is locked. Changes require a change request and a separately priced change order, which you must also explicitly accept.
3. Payments
Payments are recorded manually in the portal ledger. Portal records are bookkeeping, not tax invoices; statutory invoicing depends on jurisdiction and is provided where required.
Refund eligibility, cancellation, and recurring-charge terms are stated in each quote. In case of conflict, the accepted quote prevails over this page.
4. Your content
You retain rights to reference files you upload. You grant us a limited license to use them solely to evaluate, quote, and deliver your commission.
You confirm you have the right to share anything you upload and that it doesn't infringe third-party rights.
5. Acceptable use
Don't upload illegal content, malware, or content you don't have rights to. Don't attempt to access other clients' data or disrupt the service.
6. Liability
The portal is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid for the commission giving rise to the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the portal or on Discord before they take effect. The terms version attached to a quote is the one that governs it.
These terms are a working draft. Governing law and jurisdiction clauses will be finalized before launch.
